A warm, comforting peach crisp with a buttery oat topping — perfect for summer desserts or cozy evenings.
Ingredients
6 cups sliced fresh peaches (about 6-7 peaches)
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine sliced peaches, lemon juice, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, and salt. Mix well.
3. Pour the peach mixture into a greased 9×9-inch baking dish and spread evenly.
4. In a separate bowl, mix oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
5. Add melted butter to the oat mixture and stir until crumbly.
6. Sprinkle the oat topping evenly over the peaches.
7. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the top is golden and the peach filling is bubbling.
8. Let cool for at least 10 minutes before serving.
9. Serve warm, optionally with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
Notes
You can substitute frozen or canned peaches if fresh aren’t available — just be sure to drain them well.
Add chopped nuts like pecans or walnuts to the topping for added crunch.
Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven for best texture.
