Description
A classic Chicken Caesar Salad with juicy grilled chicken, crisp romaine, crunchy croutons, and a creamy Caesar dressing.
Ingredients
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 large head romaine lettuce, chopped
1/2 cup Caesar dressing (store-bought or homemade)
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup croutons
Lemon wedges, for serving (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
2. Brush chicken breasts with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
3. Grill chicken for 5–7 minutes per side, or until cooked through. Let rest, then slice thinly.
4. In a large bowl, combine chopped romaine, Caesar dressing, and Parmesan cheese. Toss to coat.
5. Add sliced grilled chicken and croutons on top of the salad.
6. Serve immediately with additional Parmesan and lemon wedges if desired.
Notes
For added flavor, marinate the chicken in lemon juice, garlic, and olive oil before grilling.
Use homemade croutons for extra crunch and freshness.
